Questions
Is the resume builder really free?
Yes. There is no account, no ad, no watermark and no limit. The PDF download is free too.
Is my resume uploaded to a server?
No. The page builds the PDF on your device. Your draft stays in this browser only. Read the privacy page.
Which template passes ATS?
Use the ATS template. It has one column, plain text and normal headings. Applicant tracking systems read it without errors. The Classic template has two columns. Some systems mix up the order of its text.
Should I add a photo?
In the US, Canada and the UK, leave it out. Employers there do not expect one. In some countries a photo is common. Add one only if your country and your employer ask for it.
How many pages should a resume have?
One page is best if you have worked for less than ten years. Two pages are fine for a long career. The text moves to page 2 by itself.
Will I lose my draft?
The page saves your draft in this browser. If you clear the browser data, the draft is gone. Download the PDF to keep a copy. Press Clear to delete the draft now.
